Protagonist Development

My main character is Ruth, an average, edgy teenage girl going through life. She's haunted by the manifestations of her own mental illness. 

I started with just a few faces, trying to workout how she'll look. 

I practiced a some expression studies, trying to flesh her personality out a bit.
